Éric Caravaca

Éric Caravaca, of Spanish descent and born in 1966, is a multifaceted French artist who navigated the worlds of literature and acting before formal training at Paris's École nationale supérieure d'arts et techniques du théâtre and the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique. A year in New York studying at the Actors Studio refined his craft, leading him back to France where he shone in Samuel Beckett’s “Waiting for Godot” and earned critical acclaim for his role in “C'est quoi la vie?,” securing the César Award for Most Promising Actor. His transition to directing began with “The Passenger” in 2005, a work that also featured his acting talent alongside Julie Depardieu.
