George Eastman

George Eastman, born Luigi Montefiori in Genoa in 1942, adopted his American alias in the 1960s, embodying the archetype of the menacing antagonist in spaghetti westerns. Standing at 6'9", his imposing presence and dark demeanor were staples in Joe D'Amato's B-movies, where he not only acted but also wrote screenplays. Eastman's career flourished in the early '80s with roles in gory horror and biblical epics like "Anthropophagous" and "King David." He transitioned to writing full-time in the late '80s, though occasional film appearances, such as in Pupi Avati's "La rivincita di Natale," kept him visible.
