Gua Ah-leh

Gua Ah-leh, born in 1944 in China and raised in Taiwan, is a veteran actress and singer whose career began with a Golden Horse Award for her debut in "The Rain of Sorrow" in 1965. She remains the youngest winner in the Best Leading Actress category, repeating the honor the following year for "Home, Sweet Home." Her versatility is underscored by a 1978 Golden Horse for Best Supporting Actress in "The Diary of Didi," and her extensive repertoire includes over two hundred film and television roles.
