Jack Fisk

Jack Fisk, born in 1945, is an American production designer and director whose work spans from the 1970s to the present. Notably, he has collaborated with Terrence Malick on all but two of his films, from "Badlands" to "The Tree of Life," infusing them with a visual poetry that complements Malick's poetic narrative. Beyond this partnership, Fisk's expansive résumé includes films like "Phantom of the Paradise," "Carrie," and "Eraserhead," showcasing his versatility. His designs for "There Will Be Blood," "The Revenant," and "Killers of the Flower Moon" earned him three Academy Award nominations. As a director, Fisk made his debut with "Raggedy Man" and has since helmed several films and television episodes.
