James Hiroyuki Liao

Born in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn in 1976 to a Taiwanese father and Japanese mother, James Hiroyuki Liao is an actor whose career spans stage, screen, and video games. After graduating from Juilliard's Drama Division in 2004, Liao has taken on diverse roles, including the critically acclaimed stage performance as Song Liling in M. Butterfly at Arena Stage in Washington, D.C. His versatility extends to voice and motion capture work, notably as Kenji in the PlayStation game Ghost of Tsushima, blending his theatrical training with the digital domain.
