Jason Beghe

Jason Deneen Beghè, born in 1960, is a versatile American actor with a career spanning film and television, notable roles include sergeant Hank Voight in "Chicago P.D." and a role in George A. Romero's "Monkey Shines." His screen presence ranges from the military drama "G.I. Jane" to the classic road movie "Thelma & Louise," and he has appeared in series like "Picket Fences," "Melrose Place," and "Cane." Formerly a prominent member of the Church of Scientology, Beghè's association with the organization, including a stint as its "poster boy," ended in 2007 when he left and became a vocal critic. His candid interviews about his experiences within Scientology have earned him the title of a whistleblower. As a student at the Collegiate School, he forged a friendship with future notables John F. Kennedy, Jr., and David Duchovny.
