Javier Durán is a journalist from Seville whose work explores the intersection between cinema and social reality. He approaches film as both an artistic expression and a social document.

He has collaborated with major cultural events such as the San Sebastián International Film Festival and the Seville European Film Festival, where he developed a deep understanding of both the industry and the audience’s emotional connection with cinema.

Since 2023, he has been part of Límite, a young audiovisual collective focused on independent creation, production, and sound design. His projects reflect a constant search for authenticity, with a keen interest in realism, urban narratives, and the social gaze within contemporary film.
