John Lithgow

John Arthur Lithgow, born in 1945, is a versatile American actor celebrated for his prolific work in theater, television, and film. Graduating from Harvard and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, he has won six Primetime Emmy Awards, two Golden Globes, and two Tony Awards, alongside numerous other nominations. His Broadway debut in "The Changing Room" earned him a Tony, followed by another for "Sweet Smell of Success." Lithgow's television roles include "3rd Rock from the Sun," "Dexter," and "The Crown," where he portrayed Winston Churchill. In film, he received Oscar nods for "The World According to Garp" and "Terms of Endearment," and has since starred in a range of notable productions, from "Footloose" to "Interstellar" and "Conclave.
