Jonathan Brandis

Jonathan Gregory Brandis, an American actor, director, and screenwriter, rose to prominence in the late 1980s as a child model and commercial actor. His breakthrough came at 17 when he starred as Lucas Wolenczak on the NBC series seaQuest DSV, captivating teenage female audiences and establishing him as a teenage heartthrob. His diverse roles included Bastian Bux in "The NeverEnding Story II," Bill Denbrough in ABC's "It," and Pvt. Lewis P. Wakely in "Hart's War," showcasing his range and talent. Brandis's career was cut tragically short when he died by suicide at 27 in November 2003.
