He gained prominence as the voice of Olaf in the animated Frozen franchise, earning him two Annie Awards. On stage, Gad originated the role of Elder Cunningham in the satirical musical The Book of Mormon, for which he shared a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album. His performance in The Book of Mormon also earned him a Tony Award nomination, solidifying his reputation as a versatile talent in both animation and live theater.
