Katherine Parkinson

Katherine Parkinson, born in 1978, is a London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art graduate who rose to prominence as Jen Barber in Channel 4’s The IT Crowd, earning a British Comedy Award in 2009 and 2014, and a BAFTA in 2014. Her stage roles include The Seagull, Cock, and Home, I'm Darling, the latter earning her an Olivier Award nomination. She lent her talents to Doc Martin for three series and later starred in the critically acclaimed science-fiction drama Humans. Her filmography also includes roles in The Boat That Rocked and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society.
