Kazuko Sugiyama, born Kazuko Shibukawa on April 9, 1947, in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, is a versatile Japanese actress and voice artist. Affiliated with Aoni Production, she is renowned for her work in anime, notably voicing Heidi in "Heidi, Girl of the Alps," Akane Kimidori in "Dr. Slump," and Ten in "Urusei Yatsura." Beyond her prolific voice acting career, Sugiyama teaches at the Osaka University of the Arts, imparting her expertise in broadcasting and voice acting to the next generation.
