Kenneth Tsang

Kenneth Tsang, born in Hong Kong in 1935, was a prolific actor whose five-decade career bridged architectural studies in the United States with a versatile filmography in Hong Kong. After initial roles in films like "The Feud" and "Who Isn't Romantic?" in the 1950s, Tsang starred in detective and kung fu films, often alongside Hong Kong's teen idols of the era. His breakthrough came in John Woo's "A Better Tomorrow" series, where he portrayed various characters including a taxi driver and a strict adoptive father. Tsang ventured into Hollywood with "The Replacement Killers," alongside fellow star Chow Yun-fat, and appeared in films such as "Anna and the King" and "Rush Hour 2." His work also extended to Singaporean dramas and he won a Best Supporting Actor award at the 34th Hong Kong Film Awards in 2015.
