Kim Da-mi

Kim Da-mi, born in 1995, burst onto the South Korean screen with a striking performance in the action-mystery film "The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion" in 2018, for which she was chosen from 1,500 auditioning candidates. Her portrayal of Koo Ja-yoon, a high school student entangled in a labyrinthine mystery, earned her critical acclaim and numerous awards, including the Baeksang Arts Award for Best New Actress. Before this breakout role, she appeared in the independent film "2017 Project With The Same Name" and in the thriller "Marionette." In 2020, she transitioned to television with a starring role in "Itaewon Class," further cementing her status as a rising star. Recent projects include "Our Beloved Summer," where she reunited with co-star Choi Woo-shik.
