Kimiko Yo

Kimiko Yo, born in Yokohama in 1956, traces her roots to both Japan and Taiwan, with a cousin in actress Bunjaku Han. Her stage debut in 1976 preceded her television and film career, which began in 1987. Though recognized for roles in "Shin Gojira," "Departures," and "Ramen Girl," her extensive resume spans nearly 200 credits, including "The Drugstore Girl" and "Café Lumière," directed by a Taiwanese filmmaker. Her role in "Dear Doctor" in 2009 garnered acclaim and awards, cementing her status in the industry.
