Kirstie Alley

Kirstie Louise Alley, an American actress whose career spanned four decades, rose to prominence as Rebecca Howe in the NBC sitcom Cheers, earning an Emmy and a Golden Globe in 1991. Her breakout performance was followed by stints in films like Summer School and Look Who's Talking, and later in Veronica's Closet. Alley's repertoire also included a range of genres, from science fiction in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan to dark comedy in Drop Dead Gorgeous. She won a second Emmy for the television film David's Mother and received critical acclaim for her portrayal of a fictionalized version of herself in Fat Actress. Throughout her career, Alley also ventured into reality television, notably finishing second on Dancing with the Stars and as a runner-up on Celebrity Big Brother.
