Laura Harrier

Laura Ruth Harrier, born in 1990, is an American actress and model who transitioned from New York runways to screen roles with ease. After being scouted at 17, she modelled for major brands like Urban Outfitters and Garnier, and later trained at the William Esper Studio to pursue acting. Her breakout role as Destiny Evans in "One Life to Live" preceded her international recognition as Peter Parker's girlfriend in "Spider-Man: Homecoming." Harrier further cemented her credentials with a Black Reel Award nomination for her portrayal of activist Patrice Dumas in "BlacKkKlansman." She starred in the indie drama "Balance, Not Symmetry" and as Camille Washington in the Netflix series "Hollywood," all while using her platform to advocate for civil rights and equality.
