
Laura Elizabeth Innes, born August 16, 1957, is an American actress and television director whose career was defined by her long-running role as Dr. Kerry Weaver in NBC's medical drama ER from 1995 to 2007, followed by brief returns in 2008 and 2009. Her portrayal earned her three Primetime Emmy nominations.
