Louise Lombard

Louise Lombard, born in London to Irish emigrants, is a multi-faceted actress shaped by her working-class origins and rigorous education. The fifth of seven siblings, Lombard discovered drama at age eight and excelled academically, earning nine O Levels from Trinity Catholic High School. Her intellectual prowess continued at Cambridge, where she studied English literature. Lombard’s breakthrough came with a leading role in the BBC’s period drama "The House of Eliott," launching her career in the early 1990s.
