Ludwika Paleta, born Ludwika Paleta Paciorek in Kraków, Poland, in 1978, is a Polish-born Mexican actress and model whose career took off when her sister took her to an audition for the television series "Carrusel" in 1989. The role catapulted her to stardom among Mexican pre-teens, and she continued to build a reputation with subsequent roles in "El abuelo y yo" and "Huracán." A sex symbol and celebrated actress in Mexico, Paleta has starred in popular series like "Amigas y Rivales," "Mujer de Madera," and more recently, "Los Exitosos Pérez." Though she retains a love for her Polish roots, Mexico is her home and her future, as she declared in an interview.
