Machiko Ono

Machiko Ono, born in Nara, began her acting career at an unusually tender age, starring in the critically acclaimed film "The Taste of Tea." Before that, she caught the eye of director Naomi Kawase while cleaning shoe boxes at her junior high school, leading to her debut in "Suzaku." Since then, the youngest of four sisters has continued to build a reputation, transitioning smoothly into adult roles and accumulating several awards along the way.
