Malin Åkerman

Malin Åkerman, born in 1978, is a Swedish actress, producer, and model who rose to prominence in the early 2000s with roles in Canadian and American productions like "The Utopian Society" and "Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle." Her breakthrough came in 2007 with "The Heartbreak Kid," followed by supporting roles in "The Proposal" and "Couples Retreat." She starred in the HBO series "Childrens Hospital" and played Silk Spectre II in "Watchmen," earning a Saturn Award nomination. Åkerman has since co-starred in films such as "Rock of Ages," "I'll See You in My Dreams," and "Rampage," and has a recurring role in the drama series "Billions." Outside of acting, she briefly pursued music as the lead vocalist of The Petalstones before focusing on her film and television career.
