Masako Nozawa, a Tokyo-born actress and voice actress, has lent her distinctive voice to a constellation of iconic characters across anime, including Son Goku in the enduring Dragon Ball franchise and Tetsurō Hoshino in Galaxy Express 999. Affiliated with Aoni Production and previously with Production Baobab and 81 Produce, Nozawa’s versatility extends to voicing Doraemon in the 1973 series before handing over the role to Nobuyo Ōyama and reclaiming it for a 1988 special.
