Melissa Benoist
Melissa Benoist, born in 1988, is an American actress, singer, and producer who first gained prominence as Marley Rose in the fifth season of Fox's musical drama Glee. Her breakthrough came in 2015 when she starred as Supergirl in the CBS/CW superhero series, a role that defined her career for six years. Her filmography includes a range of genres, from the psychological drama Whiplash to the romantic Western The Longest Ride, and she took on the controversial role of David Koresh's wife in the miniseries Waco. Benoist also made a splash on Broadway in 2018, playing Carole King in the hit musical Beautiful.
