Michael McDonald

Michael James McDonald, born on New Year's Eve 1964, is an American entertainer whose career pivoted from banking to comedy via the Groundlings Theater. After a stint as a bank loan officer, McDonald joined the Groundlings troupe, a springboard for his transition to television and film. His breakthrough came with MADtv, where he became the longest-serving cast member, contributing to the show's creative direction and earning a personal tribute episode.
