Mikako Ichikawa

Mikako Ichikawa, born and bred in Tokyo, carved her niche in the Japanese entertainment industry as both a model and actress. She began her career in 1994 as an exclusive model for Olive magazine, a role she held until 1998, before expanding her portfolio with appearances in CUTiE, Zipper, Spoon, Soen, and GINZA. Ichikawa transitioned into acting with a minor role in the short film "How to Jujitsu," and her talent soon garnered critical acclaim. She won the Best Actress Award at the 24th Moscow International Film Festival in 2003 for "Blue," and in 2016, she was honored with the Mainichi Film Award and Japan Academy Award for her supporting role in "Shin Godzilla.
