Nastassja Kinski

Nastassja Aglaia Kinski, born on January 24, 1961, is a German actress and former model whose career has spanned over six decades with appearances in more than sixty films across Europe and the United States. Her international breakthrough came with the 1978 film "Stay as You Are," followed by her Golden Globe-winning portrayal of Tess in Roman Polanski's 1979 adaptation of Thomas Hardy's novel. Kinski's eclectic filmography includes collaborations with directors such as Francis Ford Coppola ("One from the Heart," 1982), Paul Schrader ("Cat People," 1982), and Wim Wenders ("Paris, Texas," 1984, and "Faraway, So Close!," 1993). She also starred in the biographical drama "An American Rhapsody" (2001) and is the daughter of renowned actor Klaus Kinski.
