Neil Flynn

Neil Richard Flynn, born November 13, 1960, is an American actor and comedian who first gained prominence in Chicago's comedy scene before breaking into film with a role in "Major League" (1989). His career flourished with supporting parts in films like "The Fugitive" (1993) and "Magnolia" (1999), and a leading role in the quirky comedy "Hoot" (2006). Television success came with "Scrubs" (2001–2009), where he played the irascible Janitor, and "The Middle" (2009–2018), in which he portrayed the overbearing Mike Heck. Flynn's versatility is further showcased through his voice work in "Buzz Lightyear of Star Command" (2000–2001) and his current role in "Shrinking.
