Non, formerly Rena Nounen, emerged from Kamikawa, Hyogo Prefecture, her career taking off when she was chosen from 1953 hopefuls for the lead in NHK’s Asadora series “Amachan” in 2013. Playing a high school girl who becomes both an ama diver and an idol, the drama’s success catapulted her into the public eye, earning a 20.6% average rating. Beyond acting, she has modelled for Calpis and served as the “PR Ambassador” for Kohaku Uta Gassen, showcasing her versatility with a singing performance. In 2016, she officially adopted her current stage name, Non, and in 2017 launched her own music label, KAIWA(RE)CORD, signaling her transition into full-fledged musical production.
