Paul Dano

Paul Dano, born in 1984, rose from Broadway to film stardom, winning critical acclaim for his debut role in L.I.E. and a BAFTA nomination for his dual parts in There Will Be Blood. Roles in 12 Years a Slave and Prisoners further cemented his status, while his portrayal of Brian Wilson in Love & Mercy earned a Golden Globe nod. Dano ventured into direction with Wildlife, a film he co-wrote and starred in, and later earned an Emmy nomination for his work in the miniseries Escape at Dannemora. His versatility shone through in 2022 when he took on the role of The Riddler in The Batman, showcasing his range from indie dramas to superhero blockbusters.
