Rain
Rain, born Jung Ji-hoon, burst onto South Korea's entertainment scene in 2003 with a role in "Sang Doo! Let's Go To School," swiftly earning the KBS Best New Actor award. His transition from music to film was marked by the Berlin International Film Festival's Alfred Bauer Prize for "I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK" in 2006, followed by international roles in "Speed Racer" and "Ninja Assassin," the latter earning him an MTV Award, a first for a Korean actor. After founding J. Tune Entertainment in 2007, Rain continued to balance Korean cinema with global projects, including "R2B: Return to Base" in 2012, cementing his status as a versatile artist across mediums.
