Ray Stevenson

Ray Stevenson, born in 1964, grew up in Newcastle and Cramlington, dreaming of an impossible acting career while pursuing art. After a stint as an interior designer, he turned to acting at 25, attending Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. His breakthrough came with "King Arthur" in 2004, followed by a starring role in HBO’s "Rome" as the irreverent Titus Pullo. Notable roles included "Outpost" and "Punisher: War Zone," alongside a rich theater career, notably as the Cardinal in "The Duchess of Malfi." Stevenson's artistry extended to watercolor painting, complementing his multifaceted career until his death in 2023.
