Robin Givens

Robin Simone Givens, born in 1964, is an American actress and model who made her acting debut in 1985 with a role on The Cosby Show, followed by appearances in Diff'rent Strokes and Beverly Hills Madam. She rose to prominence in 1986 with her role as Darlene Merriman in Head of the Class, a part she reprised decades later in a HBO remake. Givens has since starred in films like A Rage in Harlem and Boomerang, and on television series such as Riverdale and Batwoman. A Playboy cover model in 1994, she also had a stint on Broadway in Chicago. Her marriage to Mike Tyson in 1988 ended amid public acrimony, and she became a vocal advocate for domestic violence awareness.
