Saeed Saleh

Saeed Saleh, born in 1938 in Menoufia Governorate, became a cornerstone of Egyptian comedy through a career marked by both stage and screen triumphs. Discovered by Hassan Youssef, Saleh’s breakout role in "Hello Shalaby" prefigured his signature blend of anarchic wit and improvisation. His six-year run in "The School of Rioters" and the subsequent success of "No Longer Kids" solidified his status as a comedic genius. Beyond theater, Saleh lent his voice to film and television, often alongside Adel Imam, while also venturing into music with original compositions. His irreverent approach to the script, coupled with a body of work spanning decades, cemented his legacy before his passing in 2014.
