Sela Ward

Sela Ward, born in 1956, is a multifaceted American entertainer whose career spans acting, producing, and authorship. After moving to California, she broke into film with a role in "The Man Who Loved Women" in 1983 and soon landed her first regular role on "Emerald Point N.A.S." Her breakthrough came with "Sisters," earning her an Emmy in 1994, followed by critical acclaim in "The Fugitive." Ward's portrayal of Jessica Savitch in a biopic earned her a CableACE Award and remains a milestone for Lifetime.
