Simon Callow

Simon Phillip Hugh Callow, born on 15 June 1949, is a versatile English actor celebrated for his roles on stage and screen, including a BAFTA-nominated turn in "Four Weddings and a Funeral" and an Olivier Award-winning directorial stint on "Carmen Jones." He rose to prominence as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in the stage production of "Amadeus" and later reprised the role, albeit as Emanuel Schikaneder, in Miloš Forman’s film adaptation. His extensive television career includes the enigmatic Tom Chance in "Chance in a Million" and the Duke of Sandringham in "Outlander." Callow’s diverse portfolio also features acclaimed performances as Napoleon and Charles Dickens, alongside numerous other period dramas and contemporary series.
