Simon Yam

Simon Yam Tat-Wah, born in 1955, began his career as a supermodel before transitioning to television and film in the 1970s and 1980s. His breakthrough came in 1989 with a Japanese-Hong Kong co-production, and he gained critical acclaim for his maniacal judge in "Hap do Ko Fei" in 1992. Yam's versatility shone in parodies like "Chiu Kap Hok Hau Ba Wong" and in triad dramas such as the "Goo Wak Chai" series. He ventured into Hollywood with "Tomb Raider 2: The Cradle of Life" and earned international recognition for roles in acclaimed films like "Chik Loh Goh Yeung" and "Hak Se Wui." Despite a violent attack during a promotional event in 2019, Yam's enduring presence in the industry remains unshaken.
