Simon Yuen Siu-Tien

Yuen Siu-Tien, known variously as Yuan Xiaotian, Simon Yuen, Sam Seed, and "Ol' Dirty," was a Chinese martial arts actor active in the late 1970s, most recognizable as the affable Beggar So in "Drunken Master" and its sequels, films that highlight his comedic timing and acrobatic prowess alongside Jackie Chan. His career, which spanned a brief but influential period, also included collaborations with his son, director Yuen Woo-ping. Yuen's untimely death in 1979 from a heart attack marked the end of a legacy that extended beyond the screen, encompassing a prominent family in the martial arts film industry.
