Stana Katic

Stana Katic, born in Hamilton, Ontario, to Serb parents who emigrated from Croatia, rose from local theater productions to television stardom, notably as the tenacious FBI agent Kate Beckett in the long-running ABC series Castle, a role that garnered her critical acclaim and People's Choice and Shorty Awards. After Castle, she took on the enigmatic Emily Byrne in Amazon's Absentia, earning an Emmy nomination for her portrayal of a woman grappling with a mysterious six-year absence. Beyond acting, Katic co-founded Katic Productions, venturing into the production side of the industry with a portfolio of short films and TV pilots.
