Trine Dyrholm, born in 1972, is a Danish actress, singer, and songwriter whose career spans multiple artistic disciplines. At fourteen, she garnered national attention by placing third in the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, foreshadowing a trajectory marked by critical acclaim. Her breakthrough in film came with the Bodil Award for Best Actress for "Springflod," a teenage romance, upon which she built a reputation for excellence, amassing five more Bodil Awards for Best Actress and two for Best Supporting Actress.
