Wei Ping-Ao

Wei Ping-Ao, born on November 29, 1929, and known professionally as Paul Wei, was a prolific Hong Kong actor whose career flourished at the Shaw Brothers Studio. He rose to prominence for his roles as shrewd interpreters in Bruce Lee's landmark films Fist of Fury and Way of the Dragon, where he also provided his own voice dubbing. His extensive filmography includes Deaf Mute Heroine, Hapkido, and Fists of Bruce Lee. Despite a debilitating battle with jaundice in his later years, Wei continued to leave an indelible mark on Hong Kong cinema until his death on December 3, 1989.
