Wes Chatham

Wes Chatham, born in Atlanta in 1978, stumbled into acting at seven when a casting director spotted him during his sister's commercial audition. A restless teen, he left high school and found his calling through a theater mentorship program. After four years in the military, including a stint as an aviation firefighter on the USS Essex, he caught the eye of casting director Robi Reed during the filming of Denzel Washington’s Antwone Fisher. This serendipitous encounter launched his career, leading to roles in films like In the Valley of Elah and W., and TV series such as The Unit and The Expanse, where he played Amos Burton.
