Wu Ma

Wu Ma, born on September 22, 1942, and passing away on February 4, 2014, left an indelible mark on Hong Kong cinema with over 300 screen appearances and more than 40 directorial efforts spanning a quarter-century. Best remembered as the Taoist ghosthunter in the cult classic "A Chinese Ghost Story," Wu Ma's career began in 1963 and saw him become one of the most recognizable figures in the industry, excelling not only as an actor but also as a director, producer, and writer.
