Yuen Qiu

Yuen Qiu, born Cheung Cheun-Nam in Shandong, China, is a Hong Kong actress and martial artist who trained under Yu Jim-Yuen at the China Drama Academy's Peking Opera School alongside Jackie Chan and Sammo Hung. From the late 1960s to early 1970s, she worked as a stuntwoman and nightclub performer, briefly appearing in "The Man with the Golden Gun" before retiring from the industry at 24. After a 20-year hiatus, she unexpectedly secured a role in Stephen Chow's "Kung Fu Hustle," a fortuitous turn that rekindled her career. Known for her acrobatic skills and theatrical flair, she also stars in "Kung Fu Mahjong" alongside Yuen Wah.
