Zach Braff

Zach Braff, born in 1975, is an American actor, screenwriter, producer, and director, best known for his role as Dr. John Dorian in the long-running series Scrubs, for which he earned an Emmy nomination. After eight years on the show, Braff shifted to behind the scenes as an executive producer. His directorial debut, 2004's indie film Garden State, shot in his home state of New Jersey, garnered critical acclaim and commercial success, earning him a Grammy for its soundtrack. Braff has starred in films like The Last Kiss and The Ex, and provided voice work for Chicken Little, while also making his film debut in Woody Allen's Manhattan Murder Mystery in 1993. Braff continues to pursue his creative ambitions in both writing and directing.
