Ash Tyler is a character from Star Trek: Discovery, a male Human Starfleet officer of the mid-23rd century. Introduced as a lieutenant captured by the Klingon Empire around the Battle of the Binary Stars in 2256, his identity is central to one of the series' major arcs.
Tyler's memories and personality were used by the Klingon scientist L'Rell in the genetic transformation of the Klingon Voq, part of a plan to infiltrate Starfleet. He was portrayed by Shazad Latif.
