Charles "Charlie" Evans is a Human character from Star Trek: The Original Series, appearing in the episode "Charlie X." Born in 2249, he was the sole survivor of a transport crash on the planet Thasus at age three and was raised by the Thasians, who granted him extraordinary powers including telepathy, telekinesis, and the ability to alter matter.
Discovered by the Antares in 2266 and brought aboard the USS Enterprise, the emotionally immature Charlie proved unable to control his abilities among people, and was ultimately taken back into Thasian custody.
