Crell Moset was a male Cardassian exobiologist of the 24th century, renowned throughout the Cardassian Union as its foremost specialist in non-humanoid exobiology and serving as Chairman of Exobiology at the University of Culat. Outwardly polite and brilliant, he concealed a cold and ruthless pursuit of data at any cost.
During the Occupation of Bajor he discovered a cure for the Fostossa virus epidemic and won the Legate's Crest of Valor, but his methods involved lethal experiments on thousands of living Bajorans, marking him as a war criminal. In 2375 The Doctor aboard the USS Voyager recreated him as a holographic medical consultant before deleting the program. He was portrayed by David Clennon.
