Morn is a recurring Lurian character in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, famous as the perpetual barfly at Quark's establishment. A courier by trade who ran his own shipping business, he was renowned in dialogue as social and highly talkative even though he was almost never actually shown speaking onscreen, a long-running joke among the series' producers.
Beyond his role as Quark's most reliable customer, Morn was revealed to have been one of the thieves behind the Lissepian Mother's Day Heist, hiding liquid latinum in his second stomach and later faking his own death. Portrayed by Mark Allen Shepherd, his name is an anagram of "Norm" from the sitcom Cheers. Text is available under CC BY-SA.
