Natima Lang was a female Cardassian professor of political ethics and a committed member of the Cardassian dissident movement in the 24th century. She had earlier worked as a correspondent for the Cardassian Communication Service aboard Terok Nor, where she became romantically involved with the Ferengi bartender Quark.
In 2370, while fleeing the Cardassian Central Command with her students Hogue and Rekelen, she reencountered Quark at Deep Space 9. Despite rekindled feelings, she ultimately chose loyalty to her cause and the Cardassian Underground, promising Quark they would meet again. Natima Lang appears in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
